Pets are Family Too!
An affiliation of concerned Nevada residents are working to
change trapping regulations near outdoor recreation areas
and have formed an organization called Trail Safe: For
Humane Trails.  
One of our neighbors, Carol Grigus "got the ball rolling" to
start this organization after her dog, Duke, was caught in a
trap in the Jones Creek area outside the Galena Creek
Regional Park.

event that engages bird watchers of all ages in
counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of
where the birds are across the continent. Anyone can
